Vanessa Lehner absolvierte ihr Bachelorstudium für Humanwissenschaften an der Oxford University und spezialisierte sich anschließend im Bereich Public Affairs im Zuge eines Masters an der Princeton University. Nach Stationen in diversen internationalen öffentlichen Organisationen wie die WHO, UN und Europäische Kommission ist sie 2017 nach Österreich zurückgekehrt und setzt sich für Bildungsgerechtigkeit bei Teach for Austria ein.
