Philipp Pattberg is professor of transnational environmental governance at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, The Netherlands, and director of the Amsterdam Sustainability Institute. Philipp studies governance complexity across multiple policy domains, including climate change, biodiversity and oceans. His most recent book is The Anthropocene Debate and Political Science
