Ioanna Georgakopoulou und Georgia Anagnostaki

When contemplating our futures, we factor in a multitude of parameters. Values, such as democracy and justice, are measured up against the cost of our livelihoods. During this workshop, we shall explore various concepts that revolve around the relationship between climate change and democracy. Who is more heavily burdened with the cost of energy transition? How can societies uphold their values in the face of an energy crisis caused by war and conflict? In this trembling geopolitical environment, climate mitigation and a just green transition are at stake.
