Rethinking climate communication – young ideas for climate campaigning

Sybille Chiari (BOKU), Sonja Völler (Umweltbundesamt)

A group of young climate activists from across Europe developed three new young creative climate communication formats / campaigns. These formats addressed: climate-friendly travel ("vojo"); the question of what makes you happy / what do I want to invest my time/money in and what not? ("no time to waste"); and a storytelling platform for young people committed to climate change ("Young Humans of Climate Change"). In this workshop you have the opportunity to look behind the scenes, to discuss how successful climate communication can work, what are different entry points and ways of further engagement.
